Ohio Supreme Court Justice (Seat 1)

The Ohio Supreme Court Justice (Seat 1) is elected every six years and presides over the highest court in the state. Their responsibilities include making the rules for lower courts, admitting attorneys to practice law in the state, disciplining attorneys who violate the law, releasing persons who are unlawfully imprisoned, ordering public officials to perform required acts, ordering lower courts to cease unlawful acts, and hearing appeals to decisions by the Court of Appeals.
