There are two elections this year; a Primary Election on Tuesday, May 6 and the General Election on Tuesday, November 4.
The Primary Election is used to narrow the field of candidates down to twice the number of available seats. So for the office of Mayor, where only one person can take the seat, the Primary Election will narrow the field down to the top two candidates. The winners of the primary elections proceed on to the General Election.
The General Election, which is always held on the Tuesday following the first Monday of November, determines who will take office.
Candidates are listed in alphabetical order by last name.
