President and Vice President of the United States

The President and Vice President of the United States is elected every four years and oversees the day-to-day operations of the federal government. Their responsibilities include signing and vetoing bills of Congress, promulgating regulations, commanding the nation’s armed forces, and nominating federal judges.

Like all federal elected offices, the President and Vice President of the United States race is partisan. This means that each candidate has their party affiliation listed alongside their name on the ballot. Independent candidates will be stated as having no party affiliation.
